The Klondike Building at 1813 Main Street has been thoughtfully restored into luxury apartments, blending historic preservation with modern living. This adaptive reuse project, a collaboration between Cason Development Group and Cohn Construction Services, maintained the building’s architectural integrity while transforming it into a vibrant residential space. Recognized for its commitment to preservation, 1813 Main received the 2023 Historic Columbia Preservation Award in the Preservation, Rehabilitation, or Restoration category, as well as a 2022 Golden Nail Award from the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
