Brian Ford joined Cason Development Group in 2025 as Vice President of Finance, bringing more than 15 years of experience in accounting, financial strategy, and organizational leadership. In his role, he oversees all financial operations for the company, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and capital planning, to support Cason’s continued growth and development initiatives.

Prior to joining Cason, Brian served as Chief Financial Officer of the South Carolina Education Lottery, where he was responsible for financial planning, reporting, and oversight of revenues exceeding $2.5 billion annually. During his tenure, he led strategic initiatives that enhanced profitability, improved compliance, and supported education funding across the state.

A Certified Public Accountant, Brian earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Wofford College, where he was also a member of the football team and active in student leadership.

Brian is deeply engaged in his community and is a graduate of Leadership Columbia. He also served as State Chairman of Ducks Unlimited in South Carolina, raising over $5 million for wetlands conservation. He is an active member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, where he served on the Officer Nominating Committee

Outside of work, Brian spends much of his free time with his wife, Francie, and their two children. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, natural resource conservation, and cheering on his favorite football and baseball teams.
