Brian Hunt joined Cason Development in 2026, bringing nearly two decades of commercial real estate experience spanning development, project management, and property management across the Southeast.

Prior to joining Cason Development, Brian spent more than fourteen years with Hunt Retail Properties, where he developed retail projects throughout the region and worked alongside national and regional retailers including Walgreens, Starbucks, and Murphy USA. He began his career in 2007 with Kahn Development Company as Project Development Manager, where over five years his work encompassed retail development, site selection, due diligence, entitlements, leasing, property management, and development coordination across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Florida.

Known for his hands-on approach, Brian has guided projects from initial site identification through successful completion, building lasting relationships with landowners, municipalities, brokers, tenants, lenders, engineers, architects, and contractors along the way.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Brian earned his degree in Economics from Florida State University and now resides in Blythewood, South Carolina. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family, fishing, taking in live music, and remaining an unapologetically loyal Florida State fan..
