Courtney Melendez joined Cason Development in August 2023. With a background of leadership roles spanning sales, operations, marketing and nonprofit management, she brings a wealth of expertise to our team.

As Director of Strategic Operations, she manages the systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination that keeps things running smoothly. She focuses on execution and operational excellence, ensuring alignment across teams and initiatives while overseeing office operations, marketing initiatives, and research efforts.

Beyond her professional commitments, Courtney serves on the Leadership Columbia Advisory Board and she and her husband, Mario, are active members of Downtown Church. They live in downtown Columbia with their rescue dog, Gia, and can often be found frequenting the local restaurant scene. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys tackling DIY projects at home, backpacking, attending music festivals, traveling, and cheering on the Gamecocks.
