Il Focalare

Once an auto shop, 2150 Sumter Street was transformed into a welcoming, nostalgic pizzeria with exposed wood ceilings, industrial fixtures, and a design that captures the charm of retro pizza parlors. The renovation preserves the building's industrial character while providing a modern and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's menu is inspired by classic New York pizza spots, offering everything from pies to small plates, all in a space that blends old-school charm with contemporary touches. Il Focolare adds a vibrant dining option to Columbia while celebrating the revitalization of the Sumter Street corridor.

A small storefront at night with a red awning, large front windows, and a door in the center. The interior is brightly lit, and outside there are some bushes and trees.
